Deliverance is a spiritual process in which we, children of God, use the spiritual arsenal that God has provided us in Christ to demolish the kingdom of darkness in our lives (Luke 10:19; 2 Corinthian 10:3-6)
It is needed for:
Repenting of our personal sins and confessing them before God (Luke 24:47; 1 John 1:9)
Repenting of the sins of our ancestors, which may be affecting our lives today, and disassociating ourselves from those sins (Exodus 34:7)
Rejecting, renouncing, and divorcing evil spirits; binding and casting them out of our lives; and taking back from them what they have stolen from us (2 Corinthians 4:2; Matthew 18:18; John 10:10)
Destroying evil altars speaking against our lives (Deuteronomy 12:3)
Destroying evil soul ties in our lives (1 Corinthians 6:16)
Breaking curses over our lives (Deuteronomy 28:15)
Drinking the blood of Jesus and rejecting everything within ourselves that is of Satan (John 6:53-56; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Revelation 1:5)
